Godefroid Muzalia Kihangu
Godefroid Muzalia Kihangu is a Professor at the Institut Supérieur Pédagogique in Bukavu in DRC, where he directs the Groupe d'Études sur les Conflits et la Sécurité Humaine and the Centre de Recherches Universitaires du Kivu.
Lassané Yaméogo
Lassané Yaméogo is a senior researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique et Technologique in Burkina Faso. He also teaches at Université Joseph Ki-Zerbo and École Supérieure de Journalisme de Lille.
Maria Martin de Almagro Iniesta
Maria de Almagro is a Research Professor at the Department of Conflict and Development Studies at the University of Ghent and the Co-Head editor of the Journal of Intervention and State building. She focuses on the intersection of gender studies, international peacebuilding governance, and the role of knowledge production and meaning-making practices in world politics.
Alejandra Villanueva Ubillús
Alejandra Villanueva Ubillús is a senior researcher at the Research Institute for Work and Society at KU Leuven, where she studies civil society organizations in developing countries and human rights risks in global value chains. She is a PhD candidate at KU Leuven.
Sylvie Imata
Sylvie Imata is a researcher at the Groupe d'Études sur les Conflits et la Sécurité Humaine at the Centre de Recherches Universitaires du Kivu and a PhD candidate at Ghent University. Her research focuses on population displacement and indigenous socio-ecological knowledge in Eastern DR Congo.
Jan Van Ongevalle
Jan Van Ongevalle is research manager of the Global Development research group at HIVA-KU Leuven. His research focuses on decent work, social protection and civil society in low- and middle-income countries. He also provides guest lectures on qualitative monitoring and evaluation at the University of Antwerp (IOB).
Koen Vlassenroot
Koen Vlassenroot is the Director of the Conflict Research Group at Ghent University. He investigates armed groups and civil wars and looks into the mobility of combatants, public authority and non-state forms of governance in conflict zones, and the social transformations induced by long-term violence.
Geoffroy Matagne
Geoffroy Matagne is a research fellow at the Centre de recherche en science politique (CReSPO) at UCLouvain Saint-Louis-Bruxelles and a member of the Inter-University Research Group for Peace Policy Support. He focuses on the governance of development cooperation policies and international interventions in fragile contexts.
Emmanuel Klimis
Emmanuel Klimis teaches Political Science and International Relations at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles. An active member of the CReSPo - Research Centre for Politics, he has been working for the last 20 years on post-conflict countries and fragile contexts, mainly in Subsaharan Africa. He is the executive coordinator of the Inter-University Research Group for Peace Policy Support (GRAPAX) and represents UCL within the Development Cooperation Commission of ARES.

Melissa Lakrib
Melissa Lakrib is a student research project coordinator at Ghent University, supporting the PSP project on Resilience and Fragility. She is pursuing an MSc in Conflict and Development, examining the impact of privatisation of security on the civil war in Mali.
