\u00a0Depuis 2012, le Sahel est au c\u0153ur d\u2019un conflit r\u00e9gional marqu\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9chec des interventions internationales et des pratiques de \u00ab stabilisation \u00bb. Largement inspir\u00e9es par des imaginaires de reconstruction \u00e9tatique et de lutte contre le terrorisme, ces politiques ont finalement accompagn\u00e9 les dynamiques locales de violence et les polarisations politiques. La mont\u00e9e de l\u2019autoritarisme, illustr\u00e9e par les coups d\u2019\u00c9tat r\u00e9cents, refl\u00e8te une contestation des mod\u00e8les interventionnistes per\u00e7us comme impos\u00e9s de l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur et red\u00e9finissent des rapports de force a\u0300 l\u2019\u00e9chelle r\u00e9gionale. Dans ce contexte, les acteurs ouest-africains jouent un r\u00f4le central dans la r\u00e9interpr\u00e9tation des pratiques du pouvoir, mais surtout, dans l\u2019\u00e9mergence de nouvelles alliances et de mise en concurrence des puissances interventionnistes. Ce policy brief propose une lecture sociologique et critique des limites des strat\u00e9gies internationales, en mettant en lumi\u00e8re les effets diff\u00e9renci\u00e9s des interventions sur les structures sociales et politiques locales. Il explore enfin la perspective d\u2019un engagement international renouvel\u00e9, plus attentif aux dynamiques locales et aux recompositions sociopolitiques en cours.<\/p>\n
